    Responsibilities

    • Deal with tech related vendors/providers, such as internet providers and warranty support for hardware.
    • Repair faulty equipment, replace hard drive, memory, keyboard.
    • Troubleshoot end user problems that are reported.
    • Set up new users.
    • Make recommendations on how things can be improved.

    Responsibility will evolve and include:

     

    • Resetting passwords and provisioning of certain accounts.
    • Following up on firewall logs that were trigged by client PCs.

     

    Qualifications

    • Experience with Windows (client editions).
    • Ability to do a clean Windows install.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Understanding of the purpose of common networking hardware - switches, routers, firewalls.
    • Understanding of basic protocols/standards - DNS, DHCP, RDP.
    • Familiar with basics on iPhone and Android phones (ex. How to add an email account).
