    Forte Group is looking for a Delivery Manager to become a part of our technology management team, responsible for the services rendered to our client, the global provider of Integrated Risk Management software and information services with a focus on Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), that offers a platform designed to help businesses improve decision-making and performance with an integrated risk and compliance portfolio management. 

    As a Delivery Manager you will take the lead in designing, building and supporting through all evolution stages, an Agile software development setup consisting of multiple teams aimed to deliver maximum business value and render high-class services to the client with a solid approach of continuous improvement. 

    You’re expected to take the lead and own transparent and productive relationships with multiple stakeholders at the client site, get ready to communicate across various levels in the client organization and drive mutual business towards durable, productive partnership based on a win-win principle. 

    Responsibilities

    • Know your client best! 
    • Help your client to transform business roadmap into technical roadmap in multiple streams 
    • Take the lead in setting up teams and driving towards excellence in hard and soft skills 
    • Maintain and contribute into collaborative culture with focus on Agile values 
    • Maintain technical excellence and lead the teams to ensure quality first mindset, simple architecture and highest code quality 
    • Maintain the delivery management framework and ensure development processes are followed according to the agreed ways of working 
    • Provide guidance to the teams in timely delivery of the product increments and overall delivery of the technical roadmap 
    • Help teams to meet professional challenges, advice on best approaches, do 1-2-1 sessions, maintain continuous talent development, facilitate knowledge sharing within and across the teams 
    • Help teams to hire right profiles and maintain career development, horizontal and vertical moves, attract and retain best talent in the teams 
    • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to make efficiency improvements and better end-users experience 
    • Communicate across various teams, client business, internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts 

    Qualifications

    • Proven ability to lead software delivery in an Agile environment 
    • Expert in people and project management of high technical complexity 
    • Technical background in software development (nice to have but highly desired) 
    • 5+ years of experience architecting and/or leading the delivery of software products 
    • 2+ years of experience managing setups with multiple teams working concurrently 
    • Constant learning and continuous improvement mindset 
    • Persistent focus on delivery in a high-velocity and high-availability environment 
    • Ability to work under pressure with ‘can do’ attitude and solid sense for setting priorities 
    • Good attitude to people management practices 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to deal with ambiguity and drive on solutions, positive approach for difficulties and imaginative problem solver 
    • Fluent written and spoken English
